Castle Heights Elementary School is an award-winning pre-k through fifth grade school located between Cheviot Hills, Beverlywood and Culver City.

  • CHES was first opened in 1951.

  • The current principal is Mrs. Linda Beck.

  • Designated as a School for Advanced Studies (SAS), 900+ API Club, and a California Distinguished School Award winner.

Our rigorous academic program, infused with the arts, technology, physical, and character education, develops the whole child. We provide students with multiple ways to learn, differentiated instruction, and lessons that are culturally relevant. Our learning community fosters effective communicators, independent learners, and creative problem solvers.
