Beautification day

Saturday, March 19
9 am - 1 pm

This is a day when our school community comes together, adults and students alike, to beautify the campus: hanging hooks, painting, pulling weeds, pruning plants, raking leaves, power-washing walkways, deep cleaning picnic tables and door knobs and drinking fountains, spreading mulch in planter beds, and dropping some new plants into the ground. Needless to say, we need a lot of volunteers to help! We are always so proud at how much we accomplish is such a small time period for our school!

BE SURE TO WEAR A HAT, SUNSCREEN AND CLOSED TOE SHOES. Also helpful to bring your own water bottle, gloves and garden tools (pro tip: write your name on any tools you bring to make sure they aren’t lost) and a big SMILE!

Please choose from the available slots in the sign-up genius link to your right, but your help may also be needed for other tasks and areas. We are also in need of donations of drinks and snacks for volunteers, drought resistant plants, mulch, compost, and leaf blower loaners for the day. Participants will need to provide an LAUSD Daily Pass.
