Beautification day

Saturday, February 29
9 am - 3 pm

This is a day when our school community comes together, adults and students alike, to beautify the campus: hanging hooks, painting, pulling weeds, pruning plants, raking leaves, power-washing walkways, deep cleaning picnic tables and door knobs and drinking fountains, spreading mulch in planter beds, and dropping some new plants into the ground. Needless to say, we need a lot of volunteers to help! We are always so proud at how much we accomplish is such a small time period for our school!

Calling all Succulent Clippings!

We are in need of succulent clippings! For best results, clip 3-4 days prior to the event, let them dry and please bring to the event.

Leap into TWO exciting PROJECTS planned...

1. Cabinet Painting

With the success of the fall outdoor cabinet painting, we want to add more life to the other outdoor storage cabinets around campus. Bring out your inner artist and maybe some small brushes if you have them.

2. Edible Garden

Spring is the time and we have an edible garden to make! Perfect for those with a green thumb or who aren’t feeling artsy.

Needless to say, we need a lot of volunteers to accomplish what needs to be done in such a small time period for our CHES community, but it will be a beautiful and satisfying result for everyone!

BE SURE TO WEAR A HAT, SUNSCREEN AND CLOSED TOE SHOES. Also helpful to bring your own water bottle, gloves and garden tools (pro tip: write your name on any tools you bring to make sure they aren’t lost) and a big SMILE!

Thank you!
