Campus campout FAQ

Do I need to register?
Not this year.  Entry is $10 per person.  Each camper will receive a wristband and you can come and go as you please.

What is included in the price of the ticket?
So much fun!! But, more specifically, arts & crafts, games, and movie with popcorn

When can I come to the event?
Gates open at 2:00 p.m.

When does the event end?
Gates close at 10:00 p.m.

Can I bring my own food?
Certainly.  But of course, NO ALCOHOL!!!!

Can I bring my own beverages?
Yes. But of course, NO ALCOHOL!!!!

What’s for dinner?
Food Trucks are coming with a variety of options.  Unfortunately, this year, you are on your own for dinner.  
 
Can I bring my camping stove, my gas-powered camping lantern, my electric grill, my “anything that is powered by gas or creates fire and heat”?

No, please leave those for your trips out into the real wilderness.

Can kids bring their scooters?
NO. Kids (or adults acting like kids) cannot bring scooters or any other wheeled vehicles.

 Can I bring tables, lounge chairs and canopies?
Because this event is very popular and space is limited, you may only bring small tables and chairs.  If your furniture takes up too much space or blocks the movie screen or bleachers, you will be required to remove it.

Can I choose where to put my tent?
Sadly, no tents this year.  

Can I bring sporting equipment?
Yes, as long as it is safe to play around other people.
 
Can I just come and go as I please?

Absolutely. You will receive a wristband when you pay and enter the first time and you can come and go as you please.

Can I invite other members of my family?
Yes, as long as there is a current or former Castle Heights student with you.

How do I register and pay?

Pay $10 at the door

What about T-Shirts?
T-shirts will be sold on selected days at school until there is no more inventory. T-shirts are $15 per shirt.
